Download the tube file to a temporary directory. Open Paint Shop Pro. Go to File/Open and open the tube you downloaded (it will have a .tub extension, but will open like a normal picture in PSP). Now, go to File/Export/Picture Tube.... The Export Picture Tube dialogue box will now appear. ![]()
On the right hand side of the box, they are a few more options. Placement Mode is fairly obvious - if you choose random, everytime you use the tube, a different amount of space will be left between each image. This can be useful if you're spraying something like grass blades which you don't want to look too perfect. If you choose continous, the images will be a fixed width from each other. |

| Selection Mode is another fairly obvious one - the different options of this drop=down menu decided how the images should be sprayed onto the page based on their position within the tube file. You will probably find that you rarely use Angular, Pressure or Velocity (although they are fun to play with). With the Angular selection mode, the little image from the tube file that is used will depend on what angle (or direction) you are drawing in. Pressure will only work with a pressure sensitive tablet & the individual image that is used will depend on how hard you press. Velocity is rather fun - the little image chosen depends on how fast you draw! The two I personally use most often are Random where the little image is picked randomly from the tube file & Incremental where the images are sprayed in the order that they appear on the tube file. | |

All that's left to do is give the tube a name. Be careful if your
using Paint Shop Pro 5 - if you give a new tube the same name as one you
previously have, it will over-write the old tube without prompting. In
PSP6, you are asked first if you're sure you want to do that. To use the tube,
