What is the font you use for your headings? The font is called Space Woozies. It was made by Omega Font Labs, but unfortunately, their site has now closed down. However, they made such neat fonts that you can find them on most free fonts site on-line. One site that I know has Space Woozies is True Type Resource. |
How did you make those coloured navigation buttons?I adapted the a tutorial on making gems from Angela M. Cable. You can find the link to her tutorial on her fantastic Blade Pro Visual Archive. I just used a circular shape instead of a rectangle. |
How did you make your logo on the home page look glassy?Lots of cutouts on different layers! It was based on a technique I found at The Hoods, but that site has unfortunately closed down. You may want to take a look at these sites, they all have tutorials on glass effects:
Mann Made Images - try the Image under Glass tutorial
Tephras Paint Shop Pro Tutorials - the Glass Domed Frame tutorial
New Dawn Micro - the Glass Bubble tutorial

Can I use your tubes to make graphics for my webpage?Short answer - yes, if it is not a commercial page. By commercial, I mean that someone is getting money from it. If you do want to use them to make graphics on a commercial site, let me know and we can sort something out (hey, a girl can dream!). Likewise, I do not want my tubes or graphics to be offered for download anywhere else (including newsgroups), included on a cd or distributed in any other way without my express permission. If you do use my graphics on a site, please could you offer a link back here, I don't need one on every page, just a little mention on the links page will be sufficient! A text link will suffice, but you can use one of the images below, if you want! |

If I create an image using one of your tutorials, is it mine?Absolutely. You created that image 100% from scratch & even if it looks just like mine, you were the one who made it. So if you do my planet tutorial & make some really neat planets, you can do whatever you wish with them. If you do use them on your website, could you let me know? Not for any reason other than I am very nosy & would love to see what you had created using my tutorials! |
What software did you use to create the images in your gallery?I used a fantastic 3D graphics package from Corel called Bryce. I am very much an amateur when it comes to Bryce, it is very powerful & I'm sure that I am only using a fragment of what it's capable of. If you want to see some truly breathtaking Bryce images, try these sites:

I own a tutorial mailing list, can I post your tutorials out to my members? While I am flattered that you like my tutorials, I do not want them duplicated or posted anywhere else. Please feel free to link to my tutorials, you don't need to ask permission, but they have to stay where they are! |
